Born in Alabama and raised in Georgia, Devorah is a true country girl with a city grind. She grew up singing in church and her love for music lead her to the city of Atlanta. Devorah’s passion for music was undeniable; however, she pursued a degree in psychology and upon graduation, she began working with children with Autism.
In 2013, Devorah gave birth to a little boy named Christian. Shortly afterwards, she began her modeling journey. Devorah is a natural beauty as she has an eye-capturing, exotic look. She's also known for her curvaceous, fit body and has been showcased in magazine covers, magazine features, advertising campaigns and is no stranger to the runway. Devorah has graced the cover of Plus Model Magazine for their Love Your Body October 2017 Issue. She's worked with well-known brands such as Ashley Stewart, CurlBox, Jibri and Rue107. Devorah has walked the honorary runway of Full Figured Fashion Week in 2016. In 2018, Devorah landed her first national hair campaign with Crème of Nature for a Pure Honey, which can be seen on billboards from state to state. Additionally, in 2018, Devorah went on to sign to Ursula Wiedmann Models of Atlanta, Georgia. She continues to expand her modeling resume by booking national campaigns with Creme or Nature Argan Haircolor, Aaron's Furniture, Ashley Stewart. Devorah also plans to tap into several other talents such as singing and acting to bring her story full circle.
When Devorah isn't busy being a mother and a model, she still dedicates her time to working with children who have Autism as well as other developmental disorders. She also hosts a modeling workshop, "My Model Story Workshop," which focuses on sharing tips that she's learned throughout her modeling career. Devorah shares the hidden struggles of breaking into the modeling industry. She presents the difficulties and frustrations of wanting to model and not knowing where to begin. Devorah builds on the concept that “everyone has a story and as the author, your story can be whatever you’d like for it to be.” Devorah also plans to give back by mentoring young girls using the same principle of writing your own story, but uniquely using modeling activities to increase self-confidence as well as self-worth. Devorah is still on a journey, figuring out how to piece it all together. One thing she’s learned thus far is “as long as you have motivation, you have everything you need.” She wants to become the best version of herself, both inside and out, in order to bring out the same progression in others. The word is full of so many talented people and she doesn’t believe that God would coincidentally place us all in the very same place to not inspire one another.
"God is directing my journey to be pleasing unto Him. My prayer is that my experience can be used to lead and influence the journey of others. To love yourself is to love the entire world around you. If I can influence one individual to love themselves a little bit more, I’ve made an immaculate difference.” –
